“AKVILON” SUPERMARKET – town of SVISHTOV
ARCHITECTURAL SITE PLAN: The plot is angular, facing the abutting streets from the north, east and south. The terrain is relatively flat and the parking is situated within the plot, approached from south.
VOLUME-SPATIAL AND FUNCTIONAL SOLUTIONS: The building is planned as single-story supermarket with adjoining independent commercial premises for a variety of public services. Double automatic windfang sliding doors form the main public entrance, facing southeast. There is a particular service area for warehouse supply facing north. Ceiling height both in the commercial hall and the warehouse is fixed at 4 meters. The office and the service supporting premises are also distributed within the supermarket’s area. The construction is made of steel girders and columns supported by reinforced concrete strip foundation.
FINISHING WORKS AND FACADE STYLING: The facade walls are made of sandwich panels (thermopanels), mineral wool layer and aluminum composite panels coloured in RAL 7016.
